It was a warm and sunny Saturday, 10th Septemeber, 2022, and it provided an incentive for many families for a check-up, For many COVID-19 has restricted visitation to the doctors unless it was really necessary, and the EFKS Sandringham Health Day provided an opportunity for them to have their vitals (blood presuure, diabetes etc) checked for the first time in months. It was great day as parents and their children took advatage of the free check-up provided by volunteers organised by Alliance Health Plus HVAZ programme coordinated by Aumua To'o Vaega. There were also information booths such as Bowel Screening, and women's health, such as breast screening and smear testing.
