A person confirmed as having COVID-19 attended the Congregational Christian Church of Samoa Māngere East Puaseisei on Sunday. Anyone who attended the church on Sunday is required to get a test as a precaution.

More Community Testing Centres have been set up around Auckland, the newest one opened this morning at Mangere Town Centre. Our Community Testing Centres are experiencing very HIGH demand at the moment and there are often LONG waits.

To help speed up the process at the testing centres, please take the following information for each person:

National Health Index (NHI) number
Legal name - first and last
Date of Birth
Contact phone number
Please be patient and be kind to staff and fellow community members - we are all in this together!

Remember, you can avoid the queues and go and see your family doctor to get a FREE swab but please phone them first!

COVID-19 symptoms include:
a cough
a high temperature of at least 38°C
shortness of breath
sore throat
sneezing and runny nose
temporary loss of smell.

COVID tests are FREE at all Community Testing Centres, GP Clinics and Urgent Care Centres.
